Offering access to Impact Hub Westminster’s ecosystem of collaborative workspace, resources and networks, The Impact Scholarship programme was launched last year to invest in the next generation of businesses making social and environmental impact.
Of 15 outstanding finalists, 6 were selected by the Impact Hub Westminster community to join the Class of 2014. From a solar-powered water desalination system that makes any type of water drinkable; to a community shares platform which enables people to invest in community projects more easily; the Impact Scholars are working on an eclectic mix of innovative solutions to social and environmental problems.
This year the Impact Scholarship is back, and with a new focus: clean technology.
Impact Hub Westminster is offering 5 Scholarships to the boldest and brightest driving a greener economy, as part of their long-term commitment to the development and growth of clean technology solutions. Culminating in a Live Pitch Final, Scholarship finalists are invited to pitch to the Impact Hub Westminster community, who in turn vote together to decide who will receive an Impact Scholarship.
First prize winners will receive 6 months unlimited Impact Hub Westminster membership for up to 3 team members, as well as free access to their Clean Tech Accelerator; free admission to Clean Tech themed events and much, much more. Investment in space and access is worth a potential combined sum of £13,035 to the successful organisations & individuals.
