Elephant Box provides reusable tough and durable stainless steel storage containers for food and other items – we tried them out.

Nowadays most food is stored in plastic containers or tupperware. This carries a toxic burden both for our bodies and the soil around the landfill where the item will end up – most likely fairly soon after we buy it! In contrast, stainless steel lasts longer and if it does fail – it doesn’t “downgrade.” It can be broken down and remade multiple times.

The first thing we noticed about Elephant Box is its size – nice and chunky. Unlike lesser storage containers this one can certainly hold big enough volume of food to satisfy even the hungriest EcoHustler. It is also satisfyingly sturdy and solid; its design is satisfying but unobtrusive. This Ferrari of lunch boxes is not too shouty – but performs with élan.
