Nigel Page and Justine Laycock, who won the £56 million Euromillions Lotto jackpot a couple of years ago, are selling their eco-house. Soon after hitting it big the couple bought the eco-house for £4 million and gave their old home to their cleaning lady. After a couple of years they put the green house back on the market for £4,5 million. It still hasn´t been sold.
The eco-home has seven bedrooms, a swimming pool, steam room, sauna and 25-seat cinema. The rainwater is collected and is used in the washing machines, loos and outside taps. A treatment plant also turns sewage into purified water. Lastly, there is a heat recovery system that pumps fresh air into the sealed house every two hours.
In the meantime the wealthy couple has already bought a new home – even though their old house is still on the market. Nigel and Justine are moving just 15 minutes further down the road.
Always dreamed of having an amazing house that is also good for the environment? If you play the Euromillions lottery you could pay for some incredible environmental features to a new house.
